Employment Services offers training pathways that prepare persons with disabilities for greater independence and meaningful employment. Through Vocational Training and Independent Living and Work Skills Training, trainees can build practical job skills, strengthen everyday living abilities, and develop the confidence needed to thrive at work and in the community.

Through structured learning and guided practice, trainees build industry-relevant competencies, work habits, and confidence to support their transition into employment.

Alert: Beware of Fraudulent Payment Requests Made in SPD’s Name

SPD has been alerted to cases involving job scams where scammers have used SPD’s name to instruct individuals to transfer money.

Please remain vigilant. SPD does not authorise individuals to request or collect money on our behalf through such means. If you receive a suspicious request or are unsure whether it is genuine, please verify it directly with SPD by calling our general line at 6579 0700. Alternatively, you can call the ScamShield Hotline at 1799 before taking any action.

If you believe you may have fallen victim to a scam, please contact your bank immediately and make a police report.

SPD takes such matters seriously and we constantly review the necessary safeguards to protect the public and our supporters. Please be assured that legitimate donations and payments made through SPD’s official website and authorised platforms remain unaffected.
