Fifth SPD Charity Golf Event Raises $140,000
The fifth SPD Charity Golf was launched virtually on 4 September 2020 and attended by more than 30 sponsors and golfers instead of on location at Keppel Club due to the COVID-19 situation. A total of $140,000 was raised from the event through the sale of flights. Guest-of-Honour, Minister for Communications and Information & Minister-in-charge of Trade Relations Mr S Iswaran, gave his opening address in a pre-recorded video.
Separate booking arrangements were made with Keppel Club for the sponsors to complete their purchased flights between 8 September 2020 and 8 March 2021.
