Mr Lim Teck Kiat is currently serving as Deputy Secretary (Resilience) at the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment, where he oversees water and food policies, as well as the Ministry’s international relations, communications and engagement functions.
Prior to this role, Mr Lim served in the Ministry of Social and Family Development, where he helped to build a caring and inclusive society, including partnering community stakeholders to develop the Singapore Enabling Masterplan 2030. Mr Lim has experience building human capital across the civil service, fronting multilateral negotiations, and building eco-cities. He has also worked on developing Singapore as a maritime hub and enhancing public access to legal aid.
Mr Lim also serves on Yellow Ribbon Singapore board and on Care Corner Singapore family services sub-committee. He chairs the Advisory Committee of Marsiling Primary School. He has been a community befriender volunteer for many years.
