Mr Lim Khia Tat was appointed to SPD’s Human Resource and Remuneration Committee on 25 January 2021. He has more than 20 years of corporate and regional human resource management experience across Asia, and also a successful track record in change management and the implementation of organisational transformation across local listed companies and multinational corporations.

Mr Lim headed the human resources function at SATA CommHealth from May 2021 to June 2026. His previous appointments included Vice President of Human Resources, Singapore and Southeast Asia, at Sembcorp Industries Ltd, and Head of Human Resource at the Alzheimer’s Disease Association, where the professional welfare and development of its staff, including a sizable pool of dementia care professionals and staff at its day care centres, came under his purview.

Mr Lim holds a bachelor’s degree (Hons) in civil engineering from the National University of Singapore, and a postgraduate diploma in personnel management from the Singapore Institute of Management. He is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and is an experienced DISC practitioner, and also a management graduate of the IGNITE programme from the Agency of Integrated Care.

Mr Lim is active in the learning community as past president of the Singapore Training and Development Association from 2007 to 2016. He has been an executive council member of the Singapore Human Resources Institute since 2019.
