Mr Ee Kiam Keong is presently the Deputy Chief Executive of the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Singapore (GRA), and concurrently the Chief Information Officer. He provides strategic and operational leadership and direction in the areas of policy development and planning, resource development and management, digital transformation and strategic partnerships and engagements for GRA. He assists the Chief Executive in the development of GRA’s long-term strategic plans, and the building-up of operational and future-ready capabilities in regulating the gambling industry in Singapore.
Mr. Ee was a part of the pioneering team that put in place the casino legislation and regulatory framework, and the remote gambling act. He established the technical standards, assessment and approval systems, regimes and processes to assess, approve and regulate gaming equipment, devices and games deployed in the Singapore Casinos. He led the development of the blocking regime for blocking access to illegal gambling websites, promotions and payment channels.
