Youths Defy Odds to be Awarded the Asia Pacific Breweries Foundation Scholarship for Persons with Disabilities

Four outstanding undergraduates were awarded the Asia Pacific Breweries (APB) Foundation Scholarship for Persons with Disabilities. Since the launch of the Scholarship in 2004, the APB Foundation has committed over $2.4 million to fuel the dreams of 63 students with disabilities.

SPD Ability Walk 2024 unites over 2,000 participants, raising $418,000 for disability empowerment

The SPD Ability Walk 2024 saw a record turnout of more than 2,000 participants, raising a total of $418,000 with the Tote Board matching grant, to support persons with disabilities or who may develop disabling conditions. Held at the grounds of the Asian Civilisations Museum and along the historical Singapore River, the event was graced by Guest-of-Honour Mr Alvin Tan, Minister of State for Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth & Ministry of Trade and Industry.
