Four outstanding undergraduates were awarded the Asia Pacific Breweries (APB) Foundation Scholarship for Persons with Disabilities. Since the launch of the Scholarship in 2004, the APB Foundation has committed over $2.4 million to fuel the dreams of 63 students with disabilities.

The SPD Ability Walk 2024 saw a record turnout of more than 2,000 participants, raising a total of $418,000 with the Tote Board matching grant, to support persons with disabilities or who may develop disabling conditions. Held at the grounds of the Asian Civilisations Museum and along the historical Singapore River, the event was graced by Guest-of-Honour Mr Alvin Tan, Minister of State for Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth & Ministry of Trade and Industry.
In conjunction with its 60th anniversary, SPD held its biggest charity golf tournament at Orchid Country Club yesterday, raising about $544,000 with the support of 176 golfers with further matching from the Tote Board Enhanced Fund-Raising Programme.
