In conjunction with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3 Dec 2017, SPD will be organising the inaugural SPD Breaking Barriers Virtual Run to allow members of the public to show their support for persons with disabilities, run for a good cause and raise fund for persons with disabilities. It also serves as an opportunity for both persons without disabilities and persons with disabilities to step out of their comfort zone, break out of their own mental barriers and challenge themselves to complete a 10km run.
The funds raised will be channeled to help over 9,400 people with disabilities served through the programmes and services offered at SPD, of which 5,500 are unique individuals.
