SPD Ability Walk and Run 2019 is the 4th charity walk event that SPD is organising to raise funds in aid of its programmes and services for persons with disabilities (PWDs). They comprise of therapy, vocational skills training, assistive technology, early intervention, day care, employment and educational & social support that enable and empower PWDs to be independent and self-reliant. All funds raised will be channelled to help over 9,500 PWDs access the programmes and services offered at SPD. This event also aims to foster greater inclusion within the community by providing an opportunity for everyone of different abilities as well as of all ages, to interact together and to personally experience the challenges faced by PWDs.
