It is hard to imagine Vivian’s mother’s worries and the struggles she has to overcome raising a child with special needs.
SPD is glad that we are able to do our part in helping Vivian by providing her with an eye gaze system, allowing her to control the computer using her eyes. With the system, Vivian is able to do online learning and even set up her own online business. Our social worker also visits Vivian and Madam Ivy regularly to help them solve various issues such as installation of ramp at their home.

SPD would like to encourage members of the public to make this Mother’s Day extra special and nominate their moms as a donor of SPD.
2. Does SPD receive the entire donated amount?
Yes, all donations will go to SPD.
3. Can I nominate someone else other than my mother?
Yes, you can nominate anyone.
4. Is the donation tax-deductible?
Yes, it is. As SPD has been awarded with an Institution of Public Character (IPC) status, all cash donations to SPD are eligible for tax-deduction of 2.5 times the donation amount.
5. How else can I help more people with disabilities?
