At 26, Kishon was pursuing his dream of becoming a chef when he had a spinal stroke that caused him to be paralysed from the waist down. Four years on, not only is finding fulfillment as a customer experience inclusion officer with a public transport operator helping other persons with disabilities, he is also a Goh Chock Tong Enable Award recipient. In this session, Kishon will share his journey and how the community can support individuals with disabilities.

Alert: Beware of Fraudulent Payment Requests Made in SPD’s Name

SPD has been alerted to cases involving job scams where scammers have used SPD’s name to instruct individuals to transfer money.

Please remain vigilant. SPD does not authorise individuals to request or collect money on our behalf through such means. If you receive a suspicious request or are unsure whether it is genuine, please verify it directly with SPD by calling our general line at 6579 0700. Alternatively, you can call the ScamShield Hotline at 1799 before taking any action.

If you believe you may have fallen victim to a scam, please contact your bank immediately and make a police report.

SPD takes such matters seriously and we constantly review the necessary safeguards to protect the public and our supporters. Please be assured that legitimate donations and payments made through SPD’s official website and authorised platforms remain unaffected.
